YOUR FUNDING OPTIONS
The right structure matters as much as the asset.
Hire purchase
Spread the cost of eligible machinery, equipment or vehicles through agreed payments. Ownership can pass to your business after the contractual payments and any purchase conditions are satisfied.
- A route towards ownership
- Review deposit, term and final payment
- Check maintenance and insurance responsibilities
Leasing
Use business equipment through agreed rental payments. Ownership, return requirements and end-of-term options depend on the type of lease and its terms.
- Access equipment without an immediate outright purchase
- Compare rental periods and payment structures
- Review return, extension and end-of-term conditions
Vehicle and fleet finance
Funding for business cars, vans, commercial vehicles and fleets. The structure should reflect how the vehicles will be used and how long you expect to keep them.
- Single vehicles or planned fleet requirements
- Discuss new or used assets and provider criteria
- Review mileage, condition and final payments where applicable
Asset refinance
Existing assets may support a release of capital. Availability depends on ownership, existing finance, asset condition and the provider’s valuation.
- Discuss eligible existing equipment
- Identify outstanding finance or charges
- Understand the new payment and security obligations
IS THIS THE RIGHT ROUTE?
Consider the business.
Consider the commitment.
This may suit a business purchasing equipment, replacing vehicles, adding capacity or exploring whether existing assets can support a funding requirement.
Assets may be repossessed if payments are not maintained. Compare the full cost, deposit, final payments and end-of-term conditions. Ownership, servicing and insurance responsibilities vary between agreements.
We discuss the proposed terms and charges before you decide whether to proceed. All facilities remain subject to provider criteria, status and credit checks.
HOW YOUR ENQUIRY WORKSOne prepared case.
One named contact.
Our lender network gives us access to over 200 commercial lenders. We approach providers whose criteria fit the enquiry; the number of options available depends on your circumstances.
01Understand the requirement
Tell us what you need to fund, the amount and your preferred timing. We establish the business circumstances before looking at potential routes.
02Prepare the application
We gather asset specifications, supplier quotations, the proposed deposit and business information. Refinancing enquiries also need ownership and existing finance details.
03Explain the available terms
We approach suitable providers and explain the proposed costs, security and next steps. You decide whether to proceed; the lender makes the credit decision.
FEES AND OUR ROLEClear costs before you commit.

What to know before enquiring.
Will my business own the equipment?
That depends on the agreement. Hire purchase can lead to ownership once its conditions are met. Leasing arrangements have different ownership and end-of-term provisions, which should be checked before signing.
Can used machinery or vehicles be financed?
Some providers consider used assets. Age, condition, value, supplier and remaining useful life can affect their assessment. Tell us about the asset so we can explore relevant criteria.
Can I refinance equipment already on finance?
Existing finance and security must be identified first. Any proposed refinancing will depend on lender requirements, settlement figures, valuation and the asset’s eligibility.
